Facilities at BRULAC

BRULAC is equipped with excellent infrastructure in accordance with CPCSEA guidelines which enables effortless experimentation using laboratory animals. The animals are monitored on a daily basis and segregated based on their health status by the in-house veterinarian. We are also equipped with all essential facilities required to carryout a wide range of animal experiments.

The major highlights are small animal operation theatre, portable X-ray machine and ready to access clinical facility. We are integrated with Clinical Departments and Basic Medical Sciences Departments to provide the users with wide range of analyses facilities. Post sample collection, the desired parameters can be easily assessed under the single umbrella (SDC). The following facilities are available at BRULAC:

Academic extension

BRULAC also supports externships, internships and training on animal handling and experimentation. The details of new online/offline courses provided by BRULAC will be notified in the website. Students/researchers desirous of undertaking a short period training in animal handling can mail to any one of the scientists in-charge.
