Dr. Lavanya Prathap currently working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals, Chennai, India. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University and her post-graduation and Doctorate in Medical Anatomy from Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. She served as academician and researcher in National and International Medical Universities for past 17 years and refined her teaching philosophy. She is a certified Health professional educator qualified from the University of Michigan, USA. She has more than 90 indexed publications in national and international journals and 1 patent published to her credit. Her research area of interest is to explore the role of epigenetics in cancer prevention strategies. She is also a lifestyle medicine professional qualified from Doane X University, USA, which aided her to incorporate lifestyle skills in her professionalism. She received ‘Global Excellence Award’ for her contribution to the field of education. She is a reviewer for reputed indexed journals and has presented many scientific papers and served as invited speaker in many national and international Conferences.

Dr. Ezhilarasan Devaraj Professor Department of Pharmacology
Dr. D. Ezhilarasan is currently working as Associate Professor in this Department. He has completed M.Sc. with Gold Medal and earned his Ph.D. from University of Madras, Chennai, India and Université Catholque de Louvain, Brussels, Belgium through Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Research Fellowship. He has obtained various Research Fellowships during his Ph.D. such as DST-INSPIRE, University Research fellowship from University of Madras and other prestigious awards. His research focuses are cancer biology, hepatology and molecular biology.

Dr. M. Karthik Ganesh Associate Professor Department of Anatomy
Dr. M.Karthik Ganesh, completed his Master and Doctoral degree in Human Anatomy (Faculty Of Medicine) from Dr. ALM. PGIBMS, University of Madras, Chennai. He is a hard core Researcher and an excellent teacher. He has published several papers in reputed International Journals with high Impact Factors. He is also guiding students of BDS, MDS, M.Sc., and Ph.D., in research. Currently, he is guiding 4 part-time Ph.D., students and co-guiding many Ph.D students. His research areas of interest are Andrology, Ageing, Geriatrics, Neuroscience, Stress and anthropometry. His current research projects are on "in vivo animal experimentation in Dentistry". He has standardized and created several animal models for dental research.

Dr. K. Meenakshi Sundaram, completed his Doctoral Research from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India. He is a passionate Research Scholar in Cancer Biology. His research interest is Cancer Biology, animal models, Zebrafish Genomics, Bioactive Compounds, Nanomedicines, Angiogenic Research, Cell signaling. He has published several papers in reputed scientific journals. He has standardized several disease models using zebrafish for drug discovery process. He has guided several undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D research projects.

Dr. Anandakumar, currently working as a Veterinary Officer, in Biomedical Research Unit and Lab Animal Centre (BRULAC), Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, India. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree BVSc & AH from Puducherry University and Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. His subject of specialization is Animal breeding, Genetic, and Biostatistics.
He worked as veterinarian in different reputed organizations. He maintains the laboratory animal house according to national and international Guidelines. He is an expert in the development and validation of different surgical animal models for different diseases and regulatory toxicology studies. He supported many researchers with his expertise in Laboratory Animal Sciences. His research area of interest are neurosciences, Stress, and Lifestyle diseases, etc.
